Info & Orders
Everything you need to know to get your project started — from submitting plans to delivery at your jobsite.
How to Place an Order
Ordering from TrussTek is straightforward. Contact us early in your project — the more lead time we have, the better we can serve you.
Submit Your Plans
Send us your building plans, blueprints, or a sketch with dimensions. Email is the easiest — attach PDFs or images to [email protected]. You can also drop them off at our office.
We Design & Quote
Our engineering team reviews your plans and designs the truss layout. We'll send you a quote with pricing, truss count, and estimated lead time. There's no charge for quotes.
Approve & Schedule
Review the quote and truss drawings. Once you approve, we schedule your order into production and confirm a delivery date.
Production & Delivery
We build your trusses to spec and deliver them to your jobsite on our crane-equipped trucks. We'll coordinate timing with you so your crew is ready.
What We Need From You
The more detail you can provide, the faster and more accurate your quote will be. Here's what helps us most:
Building plans or blueprints
PDFs, scans, or photos of your plans. Architect or engineer drawings are ideal but not required.
Overall dimensions
Building width, length, and wall height.
Roof pitch
The rise-over-run of your roof (e.g. 6/12, 4/12). If unsure, we can help you figure it out.
Truss spacing
Typically 24" on center for residential, but let us know if your plans specify otherwise. For agricultural or pole buildings we can space trusses up to 12' on center.
Load requirements
We can help you determine the snow load, wind load, or any special engineering requirements for your area or building type. If you have anything specific in mind, please inform us!
Project type
Residential, commercial, agricultural, or other. Each has different design and load considerations.
Delivery address
Your jobsite address and any access notes — tight driveways, low overhead lines, or rough terrain.
Delivery
We deliver to your jobsite using our modern crane-equipped trucks, which can place trusses exactly where you need them — no separate crane rental required. We make regular deliveries throughout northern Idaho, eastern Washington, and western Montana.
Delivery charges vary by distance. Ask us for a delivery quote when you submit your order.

Pricing & Quotes
Truss pricing depends on span, pitch, load requirements, quantity, and complexity. We provide free, no-obligation quotes — just send us your plans and we'll get back to you promptly. Quotes include a complete truss layout drawing so you know exactly what you're getting before you commit.
Payment Terms
We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards. Half-down is required to place the order, and the other half is due just prior to delivery. For larger commercial projects, we can discuss terms — contact us to arrange.
